Take the biggest selling piece of electronics in the shop, put it with the biggest selling speaker and you get................an absolute winner of a system!
The Denon is already well on the way to becoming our fastest selling unit ever and I have a sneaking suspicion that when the dust settles at the end of our season, the KEFs will share the same honour. The reason for the Denon's success is obvious - it offers high quality digital radio and CD reproduction from one compact, gorgeous-looking module. The iQ5s are rocketing in popularity because they too offer exactly the same sort of performance / size package. Our picture above doesn't do these speakers justice - in real life they are actually tiny, just 34" tall and not much wider than a CD case! What's more, they have stylish grilles (we've shown them 'naked') and their curvy perfectly-proportioned cabinets are incredibly attractive. It's really important to stress their minuscule size - the smallest speaker in our shop is the Mission M30i, which is also a very popular choice to partner the DM35. However, if you put an M30i on top of it's matching stand, it is actually bigger than an iQ5. In other words you could say that, in reality, it is the iQ5 that is the smallest speaker we have in the shop! It's also one of the best looking, with a range of finishes that match virtually any décor. This is particularly true if you are developing your room with cream and brown themes, because the new walnut finish will match absolutely perfectly. Already it's out-selling all the other colours put together, which is unprecedented for a brand new finish. This system is excellent - buy one and Linda Barker will love you forever! |
