We can now adjust the screen drop on any Beamax
electric screen for you, before it is sent. Simply
decide where you need your screen to drop
to and we will have the necessary adjustments
made!
Don't
forget, most projectors can only be mounted
in one of two ways:
Table Mounted
(projector is mounted the 'right way up')
Ceiling Mounted
(projector is mounted 'upside-down')
Half way up a wall
(doesn't matter which way up you mount it,
it won't work properly, even if you tilt
it!)

Vogels
ceiling mount - elegant universal bracket,
with clever quick release mechanism (RRP
£130) - £75
There
are lots of cheap ceiling mounts around,
but most of them look like the results
of a Sixth Form welding project. Don't
forget that this is going on permanent
display in your lounge. Take it from us,
the Vogels mount is the best by far!
Extension
poles for Vogel's ceiling mount
30cm
pole + star mount - £59 80cm pole + star mount - £79
If
you've got a high ceiling and you want
to avoid keystone correction, you can
use one of these poles (easily cut to
length yourself, if necessary) to extend
your Vogel's ceiling mount. You have to
use the star mount in this situation,
because the potential leverage of a long
pole is too much for the standard Vogel's
mount.
Fabulous
new Vogel's wall mount.
Can't use a ceiling mount? - Then you
need one of these! (RRP £130) - £75
This
bracket bolts rigidly to the wall either
way up, has a 'drop' (when used as shown
in picture) of 9.5 inches and sports a
12 inch long horizontal arm. In other
worlds, it will hold the middle of your projector about a foot off the
wall, which means that the back of most
projectors will end up a few inches from
the wall. The pole itself will not swivel,
but the end 'spider' bracket does (it
tilts too!).
5m
Mains Lead - £10
You get a 3m mains lead with the projector,
but we've found that this isn't long enough
for some installations, so here's your
chance to grab a 5m mains lead for just
£10 extra.
