Most 5005.2 systems are bought with set of these
gorgeous floorstands. They really set the speakers
off beautifully and also make for a much neater
installation, because cable passes right down
their central column. This is much simpler than
having to deal with hiding speaker cables on your
walls!
Many customers opt to buy two set of floorstands - one pair for the fronts and one for the rear speakers. This gives them the bonus of great sound, plus the flexibility of being able to have an 'active' and 'passive' position for their rear speakers. In other words, when the speakers are not being used, they can be placed discreetly against a rear wall, then when they are required they can be brought out into the room and placed in exactly the right position to optimise sound quality. Normally a pair of these beauties would cost you £225, but now you can grab a pair for just... £175 |
