The Stream X Signature only has a digital output (ie no analogue out) - it needs to be fed through either a separate DAC, or an amp with a DAC built into it.
Music streaming via wire is far more reliable than via Wi-Fi. If you can't run an Ethernet cable from your router to this unit, then simply buy a pair of mains Ethernet extenders from Amazon for around £25. They plug into your mains sockets and use the mains wiring in your house as an Ethernet cable - they are brilliant!
The USB input on this unit is compatible with most iPods, iPhones and iPads - please check our 'specification' section / the manufacturer's website for exact compatibility.

This unit takes a special kind of speaker plug, called a BFA plug - bare wire or 4mm 'banana' plugs won't fit into its speaker sockets. All our made-up speaker cables for this amp come with BFA plugs fitted (see 'Upgrades & Optional Extras'). If you intend to use your own existing speaker cable, you will have to cut off your plugs and use the basic screw-on BFA plugs provided free with the amp.
The USB input on this unit is a B-type USB socket - it works very well with a computer or laptop, but isn't compatible with iPods / iPhones etc.
The sonic performance of this unit can be taken even further by adding on Cyrus' excellent external power supply (the PSX-R2) at a later date.
