Systems based on
Denon D-M33
Denon's dominance of the micro separates market looks certain to continue with the excellent new D-M33. This stylish compact unit has everything you need to make gorgeous music in any room of your house. It is small enough to fit on a bookshelf or tabletop, yet produces the sort of velvelty-smooth sound normally only associated with 'big box' separates. In other words, this system is perfect for kitchen, the dining room, study or bedroom, but if the truth be know, it's also beefy enough to be used in the lounge. I already own one each of its predecessors (the D-M3, D-M30, and D-M31) - I guess I'll have to get one of these so that I've got the set!
However, one thing's for certain and that is that I definitely won't be getting Denon's own speakers, because in my opinion (and magazine reviews have backed this) they are the system's 'Achilles heal'. There's nothing wrong with them as such, but these days you can do an awful lot better - which is why we partner the DM33 with the speakers you see below.

NB If you want exactly the same thing, but with a digital radio as well as an FM radio, take a then click here for the Denon DM35DAB.

and another thing.... both the DM33 and the DM35DAB will play mp3 files that have been burned onto a CD Rom, giving you up to five hours of music from just one CD disc!
