Small drivers mean it can be put close to rear walls
Finish - gloss Anthracite (slate gray) + Black grilles
Height: 956mm | Width: 300mm | Depth: 334mm
These amazing speakers are finished in a gorgeous high-gloss anthracite piano lacquer and are happy to be sited in most positions, including close to a rear wall. They are not much wider than a CD case, but they are quite deep and they do have a fairly 'modern' look - so make sure your room (wife!) can take it before ordering.
Free Wall Brackets - normally £20 a pair!
Not the best picture in the world (the speaker shown isn't even an E50 !) but you still get an idea of how the speaker ends up looking like it's 'floating' on the wall (you don't see the bracket at all, when the speaker is viewed from the front.)
These stylish brackets have a clever 'knuckle' joint, which allows the speaker to be angled from side to side or up / down.
We're showing the RRP of these speakers as £1290, but when I bought mine, the RRP was actually closer to £1700. That tells you two things. Firstly, I must rate these speakers pretty highly, otherwise I wouldn't choose to own them, and secondly our Hot Deal price of just £649 a pair, represents absolutley outrageous value for money.
These speakers look and sound expensive - they sport six, fast action drivers, housed in a gorgeous, curved enclosure that is not much wider than a CD case and stands less than a metre tall. If you'd paid £1700 for a pair of speakers, you'd expect something a bit special and the Missions don't disappoint. Their tapered cabinet is exquisitely finished in anthracite with a high-gloss lacquer that looks absolutely stunning in any room. Build quality is awesome - a pair of these speakers weighs nearly 8 stone! Sound output is equally impressive, with a powerful, smooth delivery that suits almost any Home Cinema or Stereo system. The multiple 'small driver' configuration works a dream, by shifting enough air to produce bass that's as tight as a bouncer's hand-shake, but is blissfully lacking in the boom that might well have been present had one big bass driver been used instead. Utilising small drivers also means that these speakers are far happier close to rear walls than most floorstanding designs. I've owned these speakers for well over a year now and they never fail to delight - highly recommended!
As Messrs Hale and Pace would say, a deal like this should Ron and Ron...but I'm afraid stocks are severely limited, so you'd better not hang about for too long - if you know what's good for you!
