Last
year's biggest selling combo looks set to dominate this season
as well, thanks to a completely redesigned amplifier. Externally,
the Kandy L3 looks identical to the outgoing model, but internally
things have changed so radically that it's actually a completely
different product! If you want to know more about all the technical improvements Roksan have made, click here,
but suffice it to say that they add up to a very useful gain
in sound quality.
In the demonstration room, the L3 has a much
more refined delivery, with a smoother, less 'in your face'
presentation than the old unit. As it happens, this really suits
many of our Hot Deal packages, which are based around 'lively'
speakers like the superb Dali IKON 6. The result is a beautifully
balanced, neutral, highly detailed, sound, which delights both
fans of rock and classical music alike. Highly recommended.
