Small drivers mean it can be put close to rear walls
Finish - gloss Anthracite (slate gray) + Black grilles
Height: 956mm | Width: 300mm | Depth: 334mm
These amazing speakers are finished in a gorgeous high-gloss anthracite piano lacquer and are happy to be sited in most positions, including close to a rear wall. They are not much wider than a CD case, but they are quite deep and they do have a fairly 'modern' look - so make sure your room (wife!) can take it before ordering.
Siting the tweeter within the bass driver, gives perfect 'point source' sound, for an incredibly realistic 3-dimensional sound stage. Note lovely wood veneer, and superb engineering.

For the last couple of years, I've been a great fan of the Dali IKON 6 - it was a pretty unique speaker for me, in that it dealt with many different types of music in the same excellent way. However there was a downside to the IKON 6 in that it wasn't exactly what you would call a 'shrinking violet'. With the best will in the world, I'd have to admit that the IKONs were big, boxy speakers that did not fit easily into many lounges. What we needed was for someone to come up with a speaker that sounded every bit as good as the Dalis, but had a more domestically acceptable appearance - and that's exactly what Tannoy have just done!
The Revolution Signature DC6Ts have been critically acclaimed by both What Hi-Fi and Hi-Fi Choice as the leading speakers in their class, beating even the Dali IKONs, yet are physically much smaller, have a much more elegant curved cabinet design, and are clad in lovely real-wood veneers, compared to the Dali's vinyl wrap. These are brilliant speakers - they have just the right balance of weight and clarity to sound superb on either classical or rock music. What's more, their dual-concentric driver produces a wonderfully 3D sound stage, that sucks you right into the middle of the music. I didn't think I'd ever find a speaker that would outperform the Dalis in every way, yet the Tannoy Revolution Signatures have just done exactly that!
