Naim NAP200 Power Amplifier

This unit is of relevance to anybody using one of Naim's older, half-width designs, or the slimline NAP 90 of the 1990's. The NAP 200 uses a new type of power transistor derived from the flagship NAP 500. This produces a different sort of sound from the older units. The really nice thing is that the 'new sound' is superior in all the areas that the old amps were so strong on in the first place! So speed, timing, foot-tapability etc are all there in abundance, but the overall presentation is slightly smoother and the bass goes far deeper too!

Any Naim owner who hasn't drunk wine made from sour grapes will love the NAP200, and many other customers who have previously disliked Naim amps (because of their "thin, bright sound") will now find themselves being converted to the brand. Quite right too - we have a saying in this shop;

Everyone buys a Naim amp..............eventually!

The NAP 200 will significantly improve the sound of any system using one of the old 'small' Naim amps - in fact, its performance matches that of the early NAP 250, Naim's 'Classic' amp - an amazing feat at this price. I suspect the NAP200 will be Naim's biggest selling amp this year.

We are currently offering very attractive part exchange prices for old Naim equipment.
