The Power amp has been overlooked in many 'mature' Naim systems for far too long.... but for good reason: during the 1970's and 80's, Naim concentrated on developing their Power amplifier range, with the result that many 'older' Naim users did all their upgrading then and haven't changed amp since!

This was compounded during the 90's, with the launch of the superb £5000 NAC 52 preamp, and it's less expensive derivatives. Customers discovered that upgrading the preamp brought huge benefits in terms of detail retrieval, so that's where they spent their money.


Now, in the 21st Century, it's the turn of the Power amp again!


As with most Naim designs, the new Poweramps are derived from a flagship model downwards - in this case it's the awesome 40kg (6 stone!) £14,395 NAP 500 (pictured).

This, all-conquering, technical tour de force has received rave reviews from everybody lucky enough to hear it, and, like the NAC 52, it's innovative technology has now permeated down to the rest of the range (which us mere mortals can afford!)
