Ok. Time for some soul searching. I bet you think you've got a decent pair of speakers (and, of course, some of you have!), but hands-up all those of you who have played your HiFi to a 'novice' and have been uncomfortably aware that your 'uneducated' friend is thinking "My God, those speakers are ugly" or "Sounds a bit tinny to me" or "So that's what MFI do with their unsold kitchen units"!

Well, it doesn't have to be like that.

No longer do you, or your loved ones, have to suffer for your art. Speakers have improved enormously in the past few years.... and everyone is happy with the results.

You see, the factors, which have been changed for sonic reasons - like using narrower cabinets, with curved panels instead of straight, rectangular boxes - also result in speakers, which are far more pleasing to the eye. What's more, all speakers are considerably smaller than their ancestors ... although, let's not get too carried away - size is, and always will be, important!

So, take it from me, everybody would prefer the look of a new, modern speaker design - but it's the improvement in sound that I want you to consider when reading about Naim's two newest models:
